Abstract. Various approaches to construction on weak water-saturated soils are considered. The work of specialists on strengthening these soils has been analyzed (numerous stabilizers are used to stabilize the soil, such as lime, cement, bitumen, fly ash). The importance of proper competence of engineering and technical personnel about the properties and factors of weak water-saturated soils, affecting the technological processes of construction production, is noted. The soil stabilization process will ensure the achievement of the required properties in full compliance with the standards that ensure the safety of technological processes of construction and installation works of the soil necessary for the safe performance of work in full compliance with ISO900, ISO1400 standards.
